Awesome Home Workout 50-30-20

If you’re looking for an intense workout that you can do anywhere then this is a great one. I love this particular workout because it only contains 4 exercises, but trust me, by the end you will have a total body workout and you will also have an amazing heart pounding, fat burning cardio workout too.

The idea behind the 50-30-20 workout is to do the exercises like a circuit. Go straight from one to the next without any rest (or as little as possible). The first round do 50 reps of each move, the next round do 30 reps per exercise and finally do just 20 reps of each. This high rep workout will feel amazing and definitely challenging.

Make sure to use light weight (if any). Here are the four exercises…

50-30-20 Total Body Workout

  1. Squats
  2. Push-ups
  3. Squat jumps (or bench jumps)
  4. Bent over barbell (or dumbbell) rows

The only move that really needs weight is of course the rows. Try it out with a light weight, like 5 lbs… 10 lbs if you’re brave and comfortable with your form.
