Dear Fitness Diary… Wedding Joys

Life is moving… fast! I mean it always does, but right now it just seems crazy. I am probably a bit insane at the moment, after all I am planning a wedding and I decided it is a great time to open up two new women’s boot camp locations in the area. Dan has been telling me I need to get out of my comfort zone to push myself and setting these goals has definitely done that!

But it’s been great at the same time. I love watching the women find fitness and making it a priority in their lives.

The bridal workouts are going great… my cardio is up, my workouts are killer and I am feeling great and confident! I had my bridal portrait this past Saturday and it just helped my motivation so much more! Wearing my gorgeous dress makes me feel like a princess and makes me want to look my absolute best for the big day!

My workout I did yesterday was a change from what I have been doing… it consisted of three tri-sets doing each tri-set for two sets. It helped work the muscles for building and for fat burning and looked something like this:

TriSet #1:

  1. Barbell Benchpress x 12 reps
  2. Barbell Incline Bench x 6
  3. Lunge jumps x 20

TriSet #2:

  1. Deadlift x 12
  2. Raised Deadlift x 6
  3. DB Tricep Extensions: x 12

Triset #4:

  1. Pull-ups x 12
  2. DB Shoulder Press x 8
  3. Med Ball Passes x 10

Rest was short for such an intense workout… just 60 seconds or shorter.
