Happy Monday! I have to say that when I woke up this morning, I didn’t experience that “oh… it’s Monday” feeling when the alarm went off. I was up and ready to go. Hopefully yours started the same way.
I am assuming that’s a good sign for the week and it means I will get a lot accomplished. At least that is what I am telling myself because I have a to-do list like no other this week.

And why is that, you might be wondering?
Because this week, Fit Women’s Weekly is going to kick off!
I don’t often talk about my online businesses here at Lifting Revolution because to be honest this is my personal blog, a way to share my life and experiences with you. But today is different because it’s a special week in my life that I need to share.
If you’ve been reading my blog for a while you might know that I run a women’s training site called The Art of Weight Lifting. I am really proud of how I’ve grown this fitness community but for a while now I’ve felt something was missing.
- For one, I was never crazy about the name (sounds a bit “masculine” to me), I didn’t think it represented me or my brand very well. So that was the first thing I wanted to change.
- Secondly, I wanted to provide a fitness and nutrition community that was fun and really interactive. I’ve always been active at The Art of Weight Lifting but I wanted to step it up even more by creating a fitness club that had new workouts, new meal plans and new ideas every single week.
So by combining these two goals…
Fit Women’s Weekly was born!

Dan and I have been working our tushes off to get everything finished for you to check it out. And it’s just about done! Fit Women’s Weekly will be going full swing THIS WEEK!
What does that mean?
A Bit More On Fit Women’s Weekly
Each week there will be a new “workout of the week” for all fitness levels. Most of the workouts are body weight and high intensity. Which means they are fast, effective, fun and challenging.

Video Workouts. For each workout there will be a video of an overview and quick run through to get you comfortable with the workout and all the exercises. There will also be a video of me doing the ENTIRE program, so you can exercise right a long with me or try to beat my scores (which are posted)! Fun, right?!
Weekly meal plans. I’ve shown you before how I sit down and make my own meal plans each week. This has helped us so much to eat better, safe money, and fit fast meals in when I would rather go out to grab something. And now I share that with the group at Fit Women’s Weekly. Each week, there will be a new meal plan with choices!

For the plans, I am also putting together shopping lists to correspond with them. So freaking easy! I
Plus there will still be ALL the workouts and ALL the recipes that are available. You know how much I love cooking, so there is no way I wouldn’t keep growing my recipes!
Access to me. I want to help my friends hit their goals and I want to answer questions and concerns personally. Plus my goal is to create a community! The only way to make that happen is with regular communication. Through the forum and on page comments we’ll stay connected and have fun!
So that’s Fit Women’s Weekly in a nutshell.
I am so excited and I couldn’t have gotten the courage to make the change without my amazing fans and readers. So Thank you!

Favorite form of exercise : For me it depends on my mood and what season it is here. in general I like a full body high intensity workout using some weights. That way I get some cardio and weight training in at the same time.
I am so excited! I already love the website, but am excited about the weekly menus and shopping guides!
P.S. My favorite exercise is Charleston Fat Blasting Bootcamp!
My favorite class of the week is cycling! I’m not a fan of running, but for some reason cycling is right up my alley, and every week I notice improvements!
Excited for the site, always love more motivation to get fit!
So excited for this! I’ve been reading your blog for about the past two months and am hooked. Work unfortunately keeps me very busy and I’ve hit a diet/workout slump…this sounds like a perfect way kick myself into gear. My favorite form of exercise is definitely running or cycling outside along the Chicago lakefront (haven’t found a love for weight lifting yet, but I keep trying). And my favorite healthy meal is chicken/veggie kabobs
Fingers crossed!
Thanks for reading Ann! From what I hear, Chicago is an amazing place to workout outdoors. I have a friend who runs through the zoo a lot.
My favorite form of exercise is running, for the mental release as well as physical. My new favorite breakfast is Power Oats thanks to Taylor!!
I love running but due to asthma can’t do it do much any ore, so I have been trying high intensity workouts indoors. I like the variety!
My favorite exercise is a mixture: weights, jogging, floor exercises, elliptical and more weights…:-)
my favorite is a nice long walk with my mom and sister. It doesn’t happen often enough…
My favorite form of exercise is weight lifting! I could lift heavy things all day.
