This is the perfect addition to sandwiches, salads or just as a snack with some fresh veggies. Who can refuse a good guac?  Not to mention that studies show that people who eat a diet rich in healthy fats (such as those found in avocados) lose weight easier!


  • 2 ripened Avocados
  • 1-2 fresh jalapenos chopped (cut in half long ways and de-seeded)
  • 1/4 lime
  • 1 oz diced tomato
  • 1 oz chopped onion
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 oz chopped cilantro


  1. In a large mixing bowl, cut avocados in half and scoop “meat” into the bowl. Using two forks work to mesh the avocado
  2. Juice the lime slices over avocados and pour in all ingredients except for cilantro, and again use forks to blend all the ingredients in evenly.
  3. Top with cilantro and serve it up.
