How To Do A Push-Up 101

Push-ups are possibly one of the oldest and one of the best exercises you can do. If you’ve been reading my blog for a while you know I am a big fan of them from my workouts! But not woman knows how to do a push-up which is why I made this video for CafeMom…

I am going to show you how to do  “girl” push-ups for beginners from your knees and then take it up a notch to doing full out push-ups. If you can’t do a real push-up now that’s fine… work your way up with the knee push-ups. When you can get up to 12-15 girl push-ups give it a go with the real push-ups… even if it’s just 3 that is ok then finish off the set with back on the knees.

If you have a question about specific exercises or maybe you’ve heard of an exercise but don’t know how to properly do it just let me know and I will be glad to shoot a video!

Taylor,
I have found a new workout in a fitness magazine that calls for a Smith machine – squats on it and calves on it. I’ve seen one at my gym but don’t know how to use it. Could you demonstrate that?
