How To Have The Sexiest Arms For Your Date Tonight

Call me crazy, but it’s not a strange occurance to walk into my house and see me doing push-ups on the floor before getting dressed for an event (yup, just in my bra and panties).

Have you ever noticed that your body looks more toned right after a workout? Well, it’s not a figment of your imagination. When you strength train blood flow increases to your working muscles plus the fibers are contracted…

These two factors lead to looking more toned and tight right after a workout. So why not use those ideas for getting ready for date nights? Chances are that you will be showing off your arms with strapless or sleeveless outfits when getting “all dolled up”… and who doesn’t want toned shoulders, triceps, and biceps to complete the look?

This girl does! And that’s why I do these date night push-ups! Don’t knock ‘um till you try ‘um!

These 4 push-up variations come together to completely tone all parts of your arms, shoulders and chest.

Push-Up Variations For Women:

  1. Regular
  2. 9:00 Push-ups
  3. 2:00 Push-ups
  4. Triangle Push-ups

Just as stated below, all you have to do is 10 reps of all of these, then get dressed and head out for the night! You’ll feel great and have a bit extra boost of confidence!

How Did Date Night Push-ups Come Around?

To be honest it was all Dan. He introduced me to them when we were dating, filling me in that they were what he and his college buddies would do before going out with “the ladies”.

He did them when we were dating of course too! And we still do them, after all just because I am a married woman, doesn’t mean I don’t want to look my best when we go out! We all want to be hotties for our men and for ourselves!

Give these a try on your next night out and see what a difference they can make.

What about sexy date night legs?

There will be more on that later, but one great pre-date workout for legs:

  1. 75 Calf raises
  2. 50 Squats
  3. 25 Lunges

Easy, right?

  • Do you have any pre-date rituals?
  • When was the last time you pumped out some push-ups?

  • I like this post – I’m going on holiday soon and will be wearing strapless dresses and tank tops so would love for my arms to look their best. I’ll be pumping out some push ups on the hotel room floor before dinner if I remember!

I did some push ups yesterday 😀 I still have to do most on my knees though! And my pre-date ritual is to spend far too long on my makeup and fighting with my hair. I’m with you -even though you see your spouse/partner every day, it doesn’t mean you shouldn’t make an effort when you go out!

I’ve not tried the 2 o’clock or 9 o’clock push up so will have to give those a go this weekend. Thanks!

    • Have fun on your vacation Sam! We are in need of one too! Keep working on those push-ups! You’ll get off your knees before you know it 🙂

    • Hi John,I am so glad to hear you have started the worokut. Yes, the worokuts are a struggle to finish but it gives you a goal to aim for and you will be shocked how even next week you will start to feel like you can keep up even a little bit better. I have had a rough time trying to fit in all the worokuts the last 2 weeks and I notice that even when I miss a few days it feels harder again to complete them. Good luck!

  • I have a thought on this — if you did the workout and then immediately dressed… well, wouldn’t you be a bit sweaty and in need of a shower? I’d hate the idea of dressing up immediately after a workout, I’d need to have at least a wash first!

    • Hey rachel, this workout isn’t really strenuous enough to get sweaty. I do it after I blog dry my hair before tossing on my clothes. My husband actually does it once he’s all dressed up and we are never big sweaty messes.

      Good question though.

Can u use these if u haven’t been to the gym in a week. Like a workout at home. I have been very tired so I took a week off. Also I think I do this alot I would go for three times then twice a week then take off a day or two. Sometimes I can only get there twice a week. What do u suggest I do if only there twice. Also this week I did two sets of lunges 15 on each leg and two sets of ballerina squats of 20 each doing one set of lunge to squat then rested. Thanks hun luv u u keep me motivated.

    • Yes, this is perfect for doing at home if you need to! On the days when you only get 2 days in at the gym, work on trying to get a workout done at home. The workouts i offer with the Torched in 20 on the side are perfect for home, no equipment needed and fast!
