How To Make The Ultimate Workout Prep Board

by TaylorR

Hi my name is Taylor and I am a shoe addict. I have a very nice shoe rack hanging in my closet. But guess what? I don’t use the shoe rack for anything.

Every once in a while I will hang up a bra or something on it if I am too lazy to actually put it away but that’s about as much use as I get out of the rack.

I think it is safe to assume you probably have one of these things some place in your house too. Has it turned into a dust collector like mine?

But times have changed, people can change, and that shoe rack can change too. I am proud to say that I have found a new use for my bra holder!

Oh I can’t wait to share… but first discovering the “ah-ha moment”.

Ah-Ha Moments

I love ah-ha moments! They make you feel so smart, and on your A-game.

I was thinking the other night….

I like to have my workouts figured out ahead of time for the week, which I do when I design my boot camp workouts on Sundays. The only problem is that they normally end up getting stuck in the pages of my notebooks and I waste time searching for then when workout time calls.

I also prefer to take my clothes out the night before, and it’s one of the best recommendations I can ever give in terms of prepping for your workouts.

But here’s a new concept, what if you prepped for the entire week!? Yea, as in ahead of time.

That way you can get excited about your workouts, know what you have to do and have no room for excuses! Plus if you try to skip out on one, think how you would feel having to be reminded each time you walk into your room.

So how does a shoe rack and a workout come together? Voila, I give you the…

So what do you think?

  • Do you plan your workouts in advanced?
  • What’s your favorite workout outfit?

Can’t wait to hear!

I don’t really plan my outfits in advance, unless it’s the (rare) occasion I’m going to be working out first thing in the morning. Favorite outfit? Probably just tight capri running pants and a long beater/tank. Easy, cute, and pretty all-purpose!

Adorable! I don’t have a shoe rack, but I love the concept of just getting your plans ready and your stuff organized so there are no excuses :)

Great idea!! I love it! I don’t have a shoe rack but I still like the idea of keeping your workouts with your clothes for each day in a convenient place.
