Dan and I are going on vacation on Friday morning which means I won’t get to workout so I decided to start my workout week today, but being Sunday I just didn’t feel like going to the gym, I wanted something different. So I got the brillant idea to go down to the local high school’s stadium to have an outdoor bodyweight workout.
Run Some Bleachers!
Of course when I got there it was locked up and I was nervous there were security cameras but I was excited and wasn’t going to let some chains and locks stop me from my stadium runs. So I did what every fitness freak would do, I found a chain that wasn’t tight so I could still sneak through the crack.
I had a kick ass workout… the fact that it was 9:30 and already 90 degrees didn’t stop me. Here’s my killer outdoor workout I did:
My Sunday Stadium Outdoor Workout:
- 5 stadium sprints
- 45 push-ups (my arms hated me)
- 1 lap around the track
- 35 push-ups
- 1 lap around the track
- 25 push-ups
- 1 lap
- 15 push-ups
- 1 lap
By time I got to the last lap I realized there was a car circling the parking lot and I got nervous (I’m not really the rebel type and breaking into a stadium was about as rebelish as I get) so I hauled butt back to my car. Which was fine because i killed myself from what I did above.
But if you have a local track or stadium I definitely recommend getting out there and changing up the workout. I felt envigorated, rushed (which made me work harder and faster) and just damn awesome! I don’t recommend breaking in though!

That’s a great story. I know how to feel to have the urge to do something or your day won’t be the same. No excuses!!!
