Time to learn that exercise for women that really works!
I always stress that cardio isn’t going to give that bikini body alone… sure you will see the numbers on the scale go down, but that isn’t really an accurate number. Cardio stressed workouts will have you losing more than a few pounds of fat… it will eat your muscle up! So instead of looking toned, you are just a smaller version of yourself now. Here’s the women’s exercise that will
deliver body-toning results: WEIGHT LIFTING.
I don’t mean weight lifting in a sense of becoming a professional body builder but I am talking about using serious weights to not only lose fat but to get leaned and toned for the big day.
If you are worried about becoming big and bulky like a “she-man” you can stop that worrying right here and now. The women you see on body building magazines are not natural. They have to take quite a few things in order to get their body to look like that.
Women are not biologically able to get big and bulky. Thanks to our hormones and lack of testosterone we can lift weights all day long and never get huge which is why this is the exercise for women, even if it is outside your box.
The results you will see from lifting weights will be lean, toned, sexy muscles, a smaller weight line and the body you deserve for the time spent.
How are you going to lose fat? Muscle is very metabolically active, meaning it burns calories and needs energy to build, repair and stay healthy. Fat on the other hand is not active. So the more muscle you have, the more calories you are going to burn. To be more specific, for each pound of muscle, you can burn up to 50 calories per day! And that is just sitting around doing a whole lot of nothing.
Another perk to muscle building fat loss is that your body stays revved up for quite sometime after you have finished a workout session. For up to 24 hours your body’s metabolism is on super power. What does that mean for you? Even more calories burned off.
I have mentioned it before, but I really want this to become apart of your life, but years to follow. So here are some additional benefits, besides a great body, of weight training for the long run…
The Benefits Of Strength Training Exercise For Women:
• Increased bone density
• Extended life span (more years with the one you love)
• Decreases risk of injuries (no bad back for you)
• Increased energy
• Fight the natural process of a slowing metabolism
• Healthier pregnancy, and easier to get back to pre-baby body
• Decreased blood pressure
• Improved posture
• Improved balance and coordination
I am sure this is going to be something new for you, and hopefully fun. The great thing about weight training is that it can be customized to fit anyone’s desires. If you don’t like certain exercises, it is ok to find others that work the same muscles.
Plus you get to change it up every few weeks to keep seeing results. Workout plateaus are a fitness buff’s worst nightmare. It happens when your body gets used to a routine and before you know it the results stop coming. That is why it is so important to change up the program every 4 weeks and to always push yourself during workouts.
