Monkey In The Middle Workout & Snack Time {Vlog}

by TaylorR

Happy Monday. It’s Monday already?

The weekend flew by, especially since I was up early both mornings trying to knock off things on my to do list.

One of those things of course was this week’s episode of the Lifting Revolution Fitness & Nutrition Show!

It was so amazing this weekend (as documented here), that I had to take advantage of it and film outside.

I don’t think you’ll be disappointed!

This week’s show includes:

  1. Packing snacks to go, and snack ideas
  2. Monkey In The Middle Workout: A full body workout that will kick your tush! Plus it’s fast. Yay and yay!

Lifting Revolution’s Fitness And Nutrition Show

To recap, in my magic bag there were:

  • 20 almonds
  • 1/2 apple and 1 tbsp nut butter (I am loving the Peanut Butter Company’s Raisin Cinnamon Oatmeal)
  • Moms In The RAW bar from Starbucks (they do not sponsor me AT ALL, I just really love these).

The Monkey In The Middle:
full body workout
*If the diagonal jumps are too difficult, do not put your feet up on a block. Do it from a standard plank jumping your feet towards your hands and back out to the plank.

Give the workout a go! If you’re feeling frisky, go through it a second round.

I would love to hear your thoughts!

That’s a wrap my friends. If you haven’t had a chance to check out my Mess The Dress Fundraiser then please do. Every day we’re closer to the goal!

What’s your favorite pack and go snack?

Favorite exercise?

I always have raisins/almonds in a mini tupperware in my purse. If I am going to be gone for the day I’ll usually pack baby carrots, apples with almond butter etc to tide me over. I’m always hungry!
Favorite exercise… hm. I like anything that challenges me: Insanity for cardio, HIIT/weight circuits for strength, etc. Like to get the most bang for my buck in a short amount of time. My favorite move is probably a plank.

I LOVE raisins! I put them in just about everything too. Great for pre workout and even during workout fuel.
