My Christmas List… Top Fitness Gifts I love!

fitness wish list

by TaylorR on December 3, 2009

Don’t you hate it when friends and family ask you what you want for Christmas and you can’t think of anything? Yes, I know you’re not surprised but I love getting fitness gear.

It’s something that doesn’t have to be expensive, it helps you achieve your goals, and it makes you feel more like a fitness pro. Plus fitness clothes is something I don’t like to buy myself (I prefer shoes) so it’s nice to get what I need at Christmas.

Here are my favorite picks for Holiday Fitness Gifts

Suunto t1c Heart Rate Monitor

If you ever watch my videos you will always see this watch on my wrist. It’s comfortable, the numbers are big so when you’re working out you barely have to glance to see the time, heart rate, stop watch, etc. It is a big watch all together but I love it!

What it does:

  • Real time heart rate
  • Real time calorie consumption
  • Check training zone
  • Works with cardio equipment’s computer (I love this feature, I never have to grab the handles)
  • Color options: Black Pattern, Espresso Pattern, Orange Flare and the new True Fuchsia

The price? $82 at Amazon

Brooks Switch 2 Workout Shoes

This shoe I love… it’s really comfortable and great for crosstraining. I can lift, run and do any other fitness activity wearing them. They’re built for cushion which is really important. I get shin splints really easy and these shoes don’t show any signs of making them show up.

Price: $85.00

Stability Ball stability ball

If you don’t have one this is a must have Stability balls give you an total body workout and stretch. And I even use mine as a desk chair. It helps to keep the core toned and your body in a proper postural alignment.

As for the workouts, I love the versitility. Use your ball for squats, bench press, crunches, back extensions and much more. To get more exercises using your stability ball click: women’s online training. This is definitely on my list because I am not a big fan of the ball I have, it has “messaging fingers” that feel more like knuckles stabbing into me.!

Price: $19.99 at Target.com

Resistance Bandsworkout bands

Great for at home workouts, traveling and rehab. Anything you can do at a gym you can do with bands. I really think that everyone should have a set (which normally includes 3 different resistance bands) but especially if you don’t have access to a gym facility.

I love these because of the handles, some are literally just bands. But with the handles you can get a better grip to get a better workout.

Price: $14.99 at target.com

Underarmour Warm-up

I love Under Armour fitness clothes! They are light weight and easy to move around in. I love these warm-up pants and jacket! The thing I love the most about Under Armour is the way the material breathes. I have quite a few pair of workout shorts and tops by them and love them all. Plus they look great too!

  • Jacket: Form Full Zip Jacket $64.99
  • Pants: TNP Pants $34.99

For this week that’s my Christmas Fitness Wish List… next week could be different! So make sure to keep checking to look for more gift ideas and ideas for your own wish lists.
