I received so much positive feed back from yesterday’s post, thank you! I have to say it was one of my favorite posts to write as it was extremely heart felt, personal and I hope a little (or a lot) motivating. Thanks for letting me write what I love to write about.
As for today, I thought it would be nice to change direction a bit.
I want to share my new workout attire!
Remember about a month ago when I talked about PV-Body? And then about 2 days later I was a bit upset because they changed their brand and their program to Ellie?
Well, I spoke with Hope, one of their correspondents, and she 100% understood my feelings but encouraged me to give their new line a try. Stating it was amazing quality, extremely cute and that there was no way I wouldn’t like the change.
The worst thing that could happen? I would write a bad review (helping you guys out) and have an outfit that I didn’t like.
So long story short, I agreed to see what their new fitness attire line was all about.
Before, under the PV Body Brand, you were sent a random outfit that matched your “style quiz” each month for a very resaonable price. With fingers crossed, you hoped that the package that arrived fit your style, body and workouts.
Under Ellie, you’re send a monthly catalogue and actually get to pick out your own outfit, as long as it is still in stock. And the prices are still extremely reasonable.
I got my own catalogue and picked out this long sleeve running top and short capris. I’ve been jealous of my friends sporting tops with thumbholes and I wanted in on the fad too… Plus, I am a sucker for anything blue.
It took about a week for my clothes to arrive and as soon as I pulled out the top, I was in love.
Dan got in a good laugh because I peeled off the top I had on right then and there (we were in the car) and I slipped my new one on.
I love the breathable mesh around the armpits, and the sleeve length is perfect with or without my thumbs through those cute little holes.
How cute is the logo?
I’ve tested out the capris and the top several times now to get a feel for functionality and breathable, and each time they both passed. Good thing too, because if they can’t handle a good push-up routine, adios!
Remember when I ran that wretched rain race a few weeks back? I sported this outfit. I have to admit, I was surprised I never had issues with my pants sliding down (even my Lululemons are terrible about that) and at the end of the race, the water was just beaded on top, I just brushed the drops off.
So long story short, I am a fan of Ellie… I kind wish I wasn’t simply because of my initial disappointment with them. But, as a business owner I understand the need for change and there really is no easy way to go about it than just doing it. It just happened to come at the wrong time with me talking them up.
I do prefer their new system and I appreciated Hope’s quick response and justification for the new line.
Everyone deserves a second chance, right?
AND now the good news, right now Ellie is offering 20% off orders through the button below. For very reasonable prices, you will be able to pick out anything from the catelogue to create an entire new workout outfit.
I will tell ya though, I have a few friends that have checked out the store and it appears that many of the items go fast. Just a heads up.
Next, I am thinking I’ll grab a sports bra top… after all, I need some cute items for my upcoming race schedule!
What’s the last piece of fitness attire that you bought yourself?
What’s your favorite brand?
My all time favorite piece of attire are my UnderArmour leggings. They are amazing, and I wear them on EVERY cold run I do.
