I love exercising but I really love cooking food. I read a study recently that said people get more hapiness from doing for other than doing things for themselves. I think that’s why I love cooking… I get to (hopefully) make great tasting food for my friends and family! I’ve been experimenting for years in the kitchen.
Would you ever have guessed that these cakes were vegan? Had zero flour? This was an experiment gone oh so right a few weeks ago.

Here’s a cute story… when I was a kid (probably around 8-9), my friend, Kelly, and I used to “cook” some awesome foods. Okay, so it was more like a pot of boiling water where we would toss in every spice that was in the cabinet, a bit of cheese, some ketchup, and whatever else we could get our hands on. We never ate it, but we experimented!
I guess that little kid is still inside of me, except that now I actually know how to cook good food!
Oh No It’s Healthy!
“Healthy” has gotten a bad wrap as being “gross” or “boring” but that isn’t the case at all! In fact, I want to prove that not only can healthy food be good, it can be better than the calorie packed alternative.
Even though I am vegan now, Dan isn’t and it’s also important to remember that I haven’t always been either.
I’ve separated it up into the best “nonvegan dishes” and the best “best vegan dishes” below to help you quickly get to experimenting!
Remember, I want to hear from you… let me know if you cook something. How did you like it? How did it turn out?
