Best Baking Gifts And The Ultimate Ho Ho Ho Workout {Vlog}

Oh Monday! That means 7 days until Christmas eve. I promise I won’t do a day by day count down but I do love this time of year so I can’t avoid sharing my excitement either.

But today’s Lifting Revolution Fitness And Nutrition show is about the holidays. A sweat packed workout and some sweet treat ideas that you can enjoy afterwards!

Chocolate Coconut Holiday Biscotti {Vegan}



  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/4 + 1 tbsp Coconut flour
  • 10 packets stevia (or 3/4 cup sugar)
  • 1 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips (vegan)
  • 1 tbsp coconut flakes


  • 1/4 cup oil (I used peanut oil)
  • 1/2 cup + 1.5 tbsp almond milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla


  1. Preheat oven 350-degrees.
  2. In a mixing bowl, stir together all dry ingredients except the chocolate chips and coconut flakes. In a separate bowl, stir together wet ingredients. Add the wet to the dry and mix until dough like.
  3. Fold in chocolate chips and coconut.
  4. Divide the dough into two, and mold each into log. Each will be about 3 inches thick and 6-8 inches long and 3/4 inches thick (doesn’t have to be exact here).
  5. Place on a cookie sheet and cook for 30 minutes.
  6. After 30 minutes, remove from oven and allow to cool enough to handle.
  7. Slice at an angle your biscotti, each will be about 3/4 – 1 inch thick.
  8. Place back on the baking sheet, cut side up and cook for another 10 minutes.
  9. Flip each slice over and cook for another 7 minutes.
  10. Remove and allow to cool.

Chocolate Drizzle:

Melt dark chocolate and drizzle over ends, I added a dash of peppermint extract to the melted chocolate for a bit more “wow” but it’s not necessary. You can also dip the ends if desired.

Vegan Chocolate Chip Jars


You’ll need 2-cup mason jars (available at most grocery stores).

In each jar goes:

  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar*
  • 8 packs stevia*
  • Small handful of dark chocolate chips
  • 1 tbsp coconut flakes
  • 1 tbsp blueberries, dried
  • 1 tbsp cranberries, dried

*If you don’t have stevia packets, you can simply use 1/2 cup of brown sugar all together.

What they’ll need to add:

  • 1/4 cup oil
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 2 tbsp water
